HD Supply Senior Salesforce Administrator in Atlanta, Georgia

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years hands on configuration experience across Sales including Accounts, Contacts, Lead and Opportunity Management.

  • 3+ years using Standard declarative tools such as Flows, approval processes, Process Builders etc.

  • Understands all aspects of Salesforce sandbox management, refreshes, seeding etc.

  • Working knowledge of Service and/or Marketing clouds.

  • Exposure and understanding of Lightning components, Apex, Visualforce and Salesforce.com APIs.

  • Working experience in Agile SCRUM/Kanban/SAFe methodology with continuous release process (CI/CD) is a plus.

Job Summary

Conduct requirements gathering, design, build, test, and documentation activities for packaged software applications. Work under the direction of a manager or supervisor as part of a team to deliver large-scale business solutions or enhancement projects. Responsible for configuration of a solution for an entire business function or process.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities

  • Gathers detailed requirements from business users for whole business processes and/or functions on approved projects and enhancements to existing projects using organization specific business analysis techniques.

  • Performs design and development for whole business processes and/or functions on approved projects and on enhancements to existing projects.

  • Performs program configuration/modification and set-up activities using organization specific methodologies.

  • Identifies impacts to business resulting from newly configured or improved business functionality.

  • Implements integration and user acceptance testing (UAT) with the business client.

  • Prepares System Requirement Documents, functional specifications, and test and user documentation.

  • Updates the Project Manager or Lead Functional Configurators on day-to-day activities and statuses.

Nature and Scope

  • Identifies key barriers/core problems and applies problem solving skills in order to deal creatively with complex situations. Troubleshoots and resolves complex problems. Makes decisions under conditions of uncertainty, sometimes with incomplete information, that produce effective end results.

  • Independently performs assignments with instruction limited to the expected results. Determines and develops an approach to solutions. Receives technical guidance only on unusual or complex problems or issues.

  • May oversee the completion of projects and assignments, including planning, assigning, monitoring and reviewing progress and accuracy of work, evaluating results, etc. Contributes to employees' professional development but does not have hiring or firing authority.

Work Environment

  • Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.

  • Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

  • Typically requires overnight travel 5% to 20% of the time.

Education and Experience

  • Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline. Generally 5-8 years of experience in a related field OR MS/MA and generally 3-5 years of experience in a related field. Certification is required in some areas.
